Is Little Big World a preschool or a daycare?

We are a full-day integrated preschool cum daycare. At Little Big World, we believe that learning starts in the mother’s womb and accelerates every month. Our plans integrate daycare with day-long age-appropriate learning right from 4 months to 10 years of age. Our age-appropriate curriculum adequately covers all the learning needs for infants, toddlers as well as structured nursery and kindergarten programmes. Since most parents enroll their child for the full-day while they focus on work, we spread the learning plans all through the day instead of cramming it in 2-3 hour slots.

What should we expect for a child that hasn’t stepped out much during the pandemic?
You can rest assured that your child is in a safe zone with very high standards of hygiene and care, fully vaccinated staff, highly sanitised space and stringent SOPs, protocols. In the initial months we focus on covering up for lost learning during the pandemic times. We help our children cover their speech gaps, improve their social interaction and become independent eaters! We hand-hold children entering later in the academic year to accelerate their progress on age-appropriate learning outcomes.
What are the daycare facilities at Little Big World?

Hundreds of our parents would vouch that Little Big World is the safest environment they have experienced for their child. Sunlit, ventilated and located inside gated AAA-grade buildings, Little Big World daycares boast of 100% pinch-proof doors, injury-proof furniture, highly-trained army of caregivers and teachers ensuring a safe, caring and nurturing envionment. Pick the option that suits you for 1st 3-4 months and switch to other options based on changes in your child and your work schedule. So you may start with a few hours, every alternate day and gradually move to full-day plans as your child settles in.

When does the preschool programme start?

Our new academic year starts from July every year with limited seats open through the year for working parents. We urge you to register now to secure age-appropriate learning for the next entire year. Enrolment in any of the programmes will help keep the child meaningfully occupied and learning. You will also get a formal, recognisable certificate of passing the academic year.

Does joining a pre-school help at an early age?

Our infant programmes involve a lot of sensorial learning along with fine motor development. Within 3 months at Little Big World, parents notice early eating habits, better social skills and overall linguistic and pre-writing skills. Preschool is a great way to transition children into a formal school. They learn a lot of social and interpersonal skills that will be helpful as they move to a bigger school. While home schooling offers a lot of benefits, a child might miss out on collaboration, sharing, team spirit, learning via play-way methods etc.. A preschool can fill this gap and ensure in holistic learning.

How is the curriculum structured at Little Big World?

Little Big World curriculum focuses on holistic learning and the in-house thematic curriculum is a blend of principals like mind maps, multiple intelligence, playway, Reggio Emilia and Montessori methods. We have found that such blended learning helps inculcate analytical thinking, expression building, vocabulary development, cognitive development and much more.

Where is Little Big World located?

Little Big World is located across Pune, Bangalore and Hyderabad close to where you work or stay, allowing you the convenience of your child being right next door while you work.

How do you plan to cover the learning loss?

We understand that each child is different and hence all our programs are designed keeping the child’s needs at the center. A blended curriculum that reiterates important concepts regularly to ensure longer retention and clarity of the concept is followed at little big world.
